FARM

Lamb Sales

Please contact us for current market price per pound; available in packs, half or whole.  Our lamb is government inspected, professionally processed and butchered.  The breed of lamb we offer is Katahdin which is a hair sheep; meaning less gamey, one of the finest cuts of lamb.  We keep a closed flock; are hormone free, grass fed and finished.  We are proud members of the Alberta Lamb Producers Association.

Products

We are proud to offer a variety of products from Beatrice's Baaah'd Ass BBQ Sauce, Organic Bath Tea to seasonal produce, farm fresh eggs, organics and preserves.  Please ask for our mailing list!

ACCOMODATIONS

​

Pets

We are massive animal lovers.  Furbabies are welcome!  That being said we also do have a farm, with sheep (and rams), lambs, chickens, and barn cats.  Horses neighbor the property, and there are cattle nearby.  There is also wildlife that frequently visit such as coyotes, fox, moose, deer and maybe even a sleepy bear.  Because this is rural country and with respects to our livestock, we ask that you keep your furbaby on a leash and close to you.  We would like to keep all animals safe!  For that reason, pets must be approved when booking, before checking in.  We accept one dog or cat, per booking with a small $25 pet fee.  Pets must be on leash at all times, for their safety with wildlife, and the best interest of livestock.

Booking & Cancellation Policy 

Because this is a private rental that only accepts one booking at a time; cancellations must be issued within 1 week of booking (or greater) to receive a refund.  No refunds will be issued closer to check in, as there is a lot of preparation that goes into setting up your space, and we loose the opportunity to rebook with another client.

Weather

Inclement weather can happen on a dime in the country!  Please be prepared with warm socks for your stay, extra socks in case your feet get wet or cold, dress in layers and be prepared if you'd like to go for a hike in the winter as snow can get deep.  Are you ready for a little wild weather and zombie fog?  It's pretty magical too.

Livestock

Please do not pet or feed the livestock unless you are on a guided farm tour.  They have special diets, and human food (or other) could harm them.  Kip and Floki, our resident Rams look innocent but they can be very dangerous.  Please do not approach, instigate or feed them, or any livestock.

Check in / Check out

We want you to relax!  Check in can be as early as 3pm.  We can send you a text when your cabin (or glamping space) is ready.  More often than not, early check in has been available.

​

Check out is at 11am.  Late check out is an option if available.

​

Deposit

When booking we require a cash deposit of $200 which will be returned within 48 hours of check out.

You can book through us direct, or through one of our partner sites at AirBNB or HipCamp.

​

Payments

Direct bookings can be paid via EMT to danielle.boone@hotmail.com, or through cash.  Reservations must be paid in full 48 hours prior to check in.  Or book through AirBNB or HipCamp and pay direct through their sites.

Add on Services

Add on services, tours and photography should be booked at time of reservation so that we can plan ahead and ensure the best possible experience.  Photography service availability is based on existing bookings and may not be available, though we will always do our best to accommodate!

Wood

Cabin wood is complimentary in the colder months from Sept. 15th to May 1st.

Extra firewood bundles can be purchased for $12 each. 

When ordering, please let us know if this is for the indoor or outdoor firepit, as the indoor wood is specially sized for the efficient wood stove.

Smoking

NO SMOKING IN CABIN.  Smoking is permitted outside, safely by the firepit.  We ask that you dispose of your butts in the firepit and please DO NOT put them out in the grass or on the ground.  Thank you for helping us prevent wildfires!

Cooking

Barnacle the BBQ with propane is accessible outside.. she's old, but with a little smooth talkin' and a match she'll cook you an incredible meal.  Woodstove inside the cabin is equipped with a stove top burner for smaller meals and warm drinks that really hits the right vibe.  Dishes are available inside the cabin.

Dish Service

YEP!  No dishes.  We want you to relax.  Once a day dish service is available.  Simply send a text once you are low and need a dish refresh.  Concierge service will come and take those dishes away, and refresh you with clean ones.

Text Concierge Service

Available from 11am to 7pm.  Need a wood order, farm fresh eggs, dish service?  We got you covered.

​

Water Access

We have potable water available for you in 5 gallon jerries in the summer.  In the winter, limited water will be available for you.

​

Firewood

Currently indoor firewood is complimentary.  Indoor wood is not permitted for outdoor use, as it is specially seasoned and cut for the cabin woodstove.  Large outdoor bundles can be purchased at $12.00 per bundle.
